♥Fun Factor- Sec1 GB orientation camp 06'
We had this camp planned a few weeks ago and i really want to salute our camp commandants Janice and Valentia for being so organised and efficient! Haha. Of course not forgetting our camp committee la :). GB and NCC very "qiao", always have camp together, same as the time we had our orientation camp when we were in sec1. Ok.Let me start of with what happened during the camp.The camp was a 2day 1night camp, and it was fun! Ah, sucks la, thanks to someone for changing the people in everyone's group. Some of us were damn pissed at first...but after that got over it cos we still could get together. We started off with ice-breakers but i wasnt with my group most of the time as i had to plan with the committee and oversee the whole thing. We had this impending event at night which was the murder game and the sec1s knew nothing about it. Haha, so i was one of the suspects in this "cluedo" game and i had to act like some hypocrite and anti-social person for the WHOLE DAY. So i tried not to talk much to the sec1s and jus played with the seniors that were staying over. Oh man...i missed them so much since they left GB. After ice-breakers, we had a telematch which we had to stuff our whole face into the flour to find the warheads sweet. WALIAO...damn sick la, all the starch stuck in my teeth that me and huishi had to go and brush teeth. Haha. We had water games that was really fun and after that it was already quite late so we had dinner, consisting of vegetables, chicken wing(nice!) and tofu with gravy sauce. Not bad la huh, i'm so proud of my group la, esp the sec1s, THEY ATE EVERYTHING in the packet! except the bones la obviously. Haix, but i left them again cos i had to meet up with janice for the next day's amazing race and had to meet mrs yeo also to talk about the programme so far. Wah, this is the first camp that the wash up and rest time was so long la. We had devotion and FINALLY, its our to host the murder game. The people involved in the murder game left secretly during devotion to start preparing the props and all around the whole school. With the NCC still having their programme, the place was still quite bright, but walking around jus to light up candles along the isle of the path for murder scenes is quite freaky, cos some areas were really really dark. Then when we were ready the sec1 and 4s all were in the parade square doing some friendship dance and had bonding games. OMG. Audrey was the one who "died" and was already in her position. WAH, she super good at acting la. Then she had all the make up and all. The jR sevens were the "ghosts"-Yvonne, Stella, Joanne, Danielle, to scare the sec1s and the make up look super real la. some of them go and act like geishas' with the umbrella-clara, junqi, alina, haha...VERY FUNNY! Oh ya, then also wanna thank Weijie for helping us to evacuate the place and getting mr ganesan to help us off the bright spotlights. (but don need so fierce next time k, weijie..haha..scary leh) HAHA, ah..then the game starts. jessie and huishi were at the piano and they purposely topple the piano chair over making a REALLY loud sound which seems like audrey had committed suicide. So all of us knew what to do, We all screamed, and i can tell you, it is the most SCARY scream that we ever heard, really scary till my hair stood on its end la, but just tat it was abit long. Huishi started playing the piano to make it seem really spooky. Me and June didn't know what to do the just walked around and sat at one corner, we managed to shock some sec1s. The seniors were like the scary props la. They were really freaky then the sec1s always run away and scream. Then HuiShi started opening doors and shut them loudly. Wah, the whole GB was like screaming like mad la, then quite a number of sec1s were so scared that they all cried. Oh man, we all din know what to do at tat point of time. We played the game for about two hours and still none of them had asked any of us questions even when clues and instructions were given. Perhaps they were all too traumatized and didn't focus much on the game itself and solving the mystery. Chester my "brother" came and he was pretending to be june's brother and audrey's boyfriend.Everything went really screwed, we had some funny moments when a few sec1s went up to ask the "dead" person questions and there was this indian girl, super funny la. she keep asking questions and there was this once she held onto the mop june was holding she suddenly let go laughing, screaming and running away. Mrs yeo and some of us were at the other side trying to comfort those who were really freaked out and she started cracking really lame jokes la. We had the groups to solve the mystery and revealed the murderers which was jessie and HuiShi. Then mrs yeo debriefed the rest.
All of us were dead tired man. When all the sec1s and 4s went back to their dorms, the rest of us went to bathe, so shuang la. But the water was freezing cos it was already midnight when the game ended. The few of us still had to patrol the dorms to check on the rest so we couldn’t go and sleep yet. Besides, we didn’t know where to sleep cos we had no space and the no of people sleeping outside was even more than expected including the seniors. The ex-co were like at the CCA block eating chips and junk food waiting to watch the NCC intruder alert at 3.30am. Haha, and we still had a lot of time to spare. All of them were planning to ton(meaning stay up the whole night) but me and huishi couldn’t take it anymore after a few rounds of patrolling. So we laid out Geraldine’s sleeping bag outside GB Room on the floor. But what we realized was that it was a single person sleeping bag and could not spread it out because the zip was only halfway. So me and HuiShi squeezing our bodies into the sleeping bag. HAHA. Hilarious! But we didn’t get horny ok! After a while, I started getting bites and HuiShi was perspiring like mad. We woke up together about the same time and realized everyone was gone, they all went down to the parade square to picnic and sleep. WAH, everyone were talking about me and huishi sharing the sleeping bag la, cos we were also quite out of place obstructing people’s way. Haha. We then moved down to the parade square with them and someone took my slippers so I had to hop down the stairs with the sleeping bag. And stupid NCC guys tried to push me down the stairs. But hey, I’m fit and careful! Haha, the NCC guys “shooed” us off the parade square in a nice manner as they were about to start the intruder alert. Me and HuiShi were kinda afraid that it will be noisy while the boys running down from the 4th floor would disturb the girls sleeping on the 2nd floor. So me and huishi went to walk along the corridor of 2nd level and check on them, wah, all were soundly asleep. Some even snoring like pigs.haha. Wah, it was to our surprise when I found out they were all quite silent andexpected it to be a surprise element for the NCC sec1 boys. Like they would make a lot of noise and get all the boys to run to the parade square unprepared or something. The boys were even strolling there. Their intruder alert was quite boring cos it was not like that of our orientation camp in sec1. Me and Huishi were initially playing with Joanne they all in the canteen, but they wanted us to sleep so we jus pulled a few benches and borrowed sleeping bags. Wah, we immediately fell asleep on the bench although the NCC boys near the canteen were quite noisy running here and there as punishment. Oh man, I think the whole cohort saw us sleeping in the canteen, cos we were the only two girls and a few of our seniors sleeping there. HuiShi told me that in the middle of the dawn my handphone alarm clock rang, she had to off for me and clement who was sleeping in the canteen was awoken by it. Haha, so malu man. I didn’t feel a thing and HuiShi also said that she asked if she could use the sleeping bag we used as pillows to cover ourselves cos she very cold, but I didn’t respond. Can’t believe I’m such a PIG!
When the others woke me up, I realized that HuiShi was GONE! Haha, she had already gone to wash-up. I heard the NCC very poor thing. They ended the thing around 5. And they had to report around the same time as us. A few of the jR sevens also abit di siao one, they all study for the whole night without sleeping la. I had only 1.5hrs of sleep. NOT ENOUGH! I went to brush teeth get ready for PT and everything. June lead us in PT and we went outside for a 1.2km jog. Haha, I’m so proud of the sec1s, THEY ARE SO FIT LA, some of them were even leading. Some still had to be pushed, but at least they will run when you tell them too. Haha. We had breakfast and the marshals had to leave the place straight after that to our respective venues, while the others were to clear the dorms and have their inspection. So me and HuiShi again were together as marshals (we are forever together one, so gay) and we didn’t expect it to be in anyway more interesting than usual. We both were in the same attire from head to toe even the hair and slippers. We took the train down together with Geraldine and Charmaine and we headed for Bugis Yoshinoya which were supposed to be stationed at. The clues for the groups were like the 3rd, 5th and 6th clue. Which were so far behind so we took our time and walked around. We then finally decided to settle at just yoshinoya for a bowl of food each as the shops were not opened yet. Haha, the guy who served us is super super blur. He served us everything and then come and tell me got no student meal and all, that I have to pay more. I had to even pay for HuiShi’s meal first cos she got no money la, I was like broke. And this Guy is like so BLUR that he returned me lesser change. Wah, I was too tired to go and “zheng” with him for my money man. So toot. HuiShi and I started crapping and sharing stuff which we always do and is GOOD.Haha, cos its been quite a long time since we’ve done it. We keep laughing at every single thing even when its not funny. And that girl, she’s mad I can tell you. Oh ya. The lights in Yoshinoya got problem, always switch on and off all the time. Cos me and HuiShi slept very little, so we told ourselves, when the light is off, we sleep, when turned on again, we get up and start crapping again. HAHA, both our reaction damn funny, but after awhile, we don care jus sleep on the table. We waited super long for even one group to come la, so we just kept on sleeping. There was this ang moh guy that I heard was talking very loudly, so I jus turn my head around. LOL, He was trying to take a picture of us sleeping la. Waliao, super MALU! We started laughing after that. Soon after, before the timing we supposed to head back for school, one group finally came. Which was actually Job and Habbakku I think. We made them do chicken dance in front of other people, haha, embarrass themselves. Evil right, but me and HuiShi gave them 28/30 ok! For their good courage. HAHA. JunQi, Alina and Jocelyn were with them so all of us had to go back to school as time was up. We walked as a whole big group to the bus stop that JOCELYN TAN told us to go to, to take bus 33 back to school. Haha, I was talking to the 3 of them when we realized the girls were laughing at something. I walked over that time, there was this Indian old man, he was talking to the girls. And we cannot really catch what he says cos he seems to have dropped most of his teeth. Wah, he keep kachiowing us la, and then kept saying what we Pon school to come bugis and all, and keep thinking me and huishi were the teachers cos we were the only two wearing the top personnel shirt. After that, he said that there was this sec1 girl is the teacher. OMG! I had to keep explaining to him that we are playing a game. Then he come and shake my hand keep talking and don’t want to let go of my hand. I was like, trying to be nice showing him my beautiful smile. HAHA! The sec1s keep laughing at me cos I keep giving this face. After that he asked what bus to take to Chinatown and realized he had to go over to the opposite bus stop. This time was worst. He kept saying “Bye girl, blah blah blah…..” and jus continues talking. When he keeps saying he’s going off…he holds my lower arm and keeps hitting my back. I was like ah…HELP ME! Finally after MANY times, He finally crossed the road. Haha, all of them were like saying “He like pervert la…” and were all laughing at me. Can’t blame la, he’s friendly, but I really couldn’t stand his smell, got some alcohol+urine smell. We saw a bus 33 but realized it doesn’t stop at that bus stop. So we all RAN to the other bus stop jus to catch it. Haha, WAH…This one I can kill Jocelyn man. We were talking to Jocelyn most of the time and the 3 of us kept complaining about teachers and stuff. Then I realized why were in Geylang. Then I ask Jocelyn. She says she thinks its correct but not sure. So I asked her to go check scully we were going the wrong way. Just to be sure, she went to take the bus route pamphlet. I was just kidding with her when I kept saying “wrong way wrong way wrong way”, what the heck la, we were really going the wrong way, we were moving towards BEDOK! Ah…All of us quickly alighted at the next bus stop and crossed over to wait. We were super late by then and the others were already in school. Haha, we all started blaming Jocelyn for her blurness, she really very BLUR, she said she thinks it’s the correct route cos she remembers it, but in fact she remembered the time time she took the wrong way. HAHAHAHAHA…JOKER MAN! We continued shooting her when we board the bus and the bus driver told us that it will take about more than an hour to reach dover. On the way we saw this shop or motel called GAY WORLD.Wah, we were like OMG la. Lol. This Jocelyn has this video clip of Dorcas- another senior…SO FUNNY LA…I keep replaying. I can even remember the script! Haha…cos Jocelyn was playing a trick on her…they pretended they were taking a pic of her..but in fact she was taking down a video…Dorcas was smiling at first…then she suddenly say “why got flash one?”. Jocelyn replied, “got meh?”. Dorcas replies, “there, got light what.” Then dorcas starts to smile again. I say not funny…but when u watch her expression and her face is SUPER FUNNY. And so cute la! Ya..HuiShi then showed the video of her brother doing the dance to the song humps in huishi’s class t-shirt, GB cap and councilor tie. We kept sharing our experiences and kept laughing. HAHAHAHAHAHA! When we reached school, we slowly strolled into the school while the rest were already waiting for us at the foyer…then come into the school pretend we all were running. Haha, though they didn’t win, but we all had a treat to ice pop each and we were dismissed from there. We were sooooooo tired…and even thought of going out. In the end we just slack and sleep in the GB room for awhile and I came home earlier that’s why I’m doing this blog post now. HAHAHA…I hope the sec1s actually enjoyed themselves during this camp and will never forget it.
