Had ushering for the CanDo campaign this morning again, 7 AM! What the hell, like seriously, so earlier. Go so early do nothing, just direct the buses in using hand signals, like maybe 3 buses. SO PATHETIC. After that, I was just slacking till the end of the whole thing. We sat down to play poker cards and stuff, at least I didn't have to suffer standing there in my miserable cheapo heels that was giving me hard time even without moving. I managed to skip IS COMT, which was like a shiok thing, because of the CanDo campaign. But I did meet YiHong awhile to settle the video. At least I felt the importance of my presence there as an usherer when we had to bring the participants of the CanDo campaign to the Atrium for the one day carnival. When we could already leave, we went back to the Atrium and SiHua paid 4dollars to do her nails. The lady who served her, WHOA! Prettaye.
Finished at around 2. But we dragged the time until around 3. I took bus 61 with SiHua to change to another bus at Bukit Batok, to get home. SiHua and I decided to meet up again to go out because we wanted to go look at sales! We went home first to bathe and change out, put down unnecessary stuff and get out of the house asap. SiHua wanted to go Bugis Street first then make our way down to Suntec City for the MANGO Sale! She said that we could get there by direct bus 66, but just that we have to walk quite a distance from there. Took the bus 66 and SiHua waited to board the bus at Bukit Batok. She was so so red. Like angpao. HAHA. JOKING LAH. She wore red shirt and held onto a red clutch. Just like that, but it was red enough. We laughed and talked non-stop for the whole journey, and realised that we had similar thoughts on anything and everything that is revolving around this mother Earth. LOL. We actually "planned" on sleeping on the bus because we were pretty exhausted, but yeah, I think it turned out that we were disturbing those who wanted to sleep on the bus. HAHAHA.
When we reached the bus stop, it was true we had to walk quite a distance, but it was quite okay lah, it's like from one end to the other of Orchard Road. I tell you, that SiHua ah, must have her way one. She want do this, must do this, do that, must do that. She can whine in a super whiney voice until you feel like dying (oops), then you will give in. She wanted to eat Katong Laksa, so I ended up eating duck and charsiew noodle from the stall next to the one she bought from. Super alot of newspaper cuttings and recommendations. So yea, it was pretty good, very tasty. The laksa on the other hand, okay la, I will still be a loyal fan of Holland Village's Katong Laksa. YUMMY!
After we were done, we continued on our perilous journey (what nonsense), then we finally reached our destination, the Signboard right in front of our eyes, "BUGIS STREET". We walked even faster, and faster! Haha, and it was already late 6plus. Rush rush, look look, saw many nice things. Next time go Bugis must go with SiHua, she's super familiar with the good buys there. Bought a pair of slippers that has abit of heel-looks like the Brazilliano Praia in NUM (MY FAVOURITE), 3 pairs of earrings and a glittery white tote bag. SiHua bought a blue one! We are gonna carry it together, so cool man. We ended up broke, and could only afford a cup of bubble tea for the night. HAHA. We were so upset with ourselves for spending so much money, but satisfied with all the plastic bags in our hands. We saw alot of good buys, but didn't have the time or money. No time to go Suntec already. It's tiring walking around Bugis Street. We still had to walk back, even more tiring! Good thing we were in comfortable attire.
We got on the bus 66 again, talked and laughed like crazy toots again. SO FUN to be with NG SIHUA! Hahaha, I'm sure she's having fun because of me too lah, right SiHua?
I love you bestie! We are only crazy when we are together. And yeaps, I will still stand on your side no matter what. :)) LURBE LURBE EUUUU WORXZXXXZZZ.
