Tired out.

I forgot what I wanted to blog about, because I haven't been online for quite some time. Okay lah, only a few days, but it was quite happening.

Today, I had to get up pretty early in the morning to go to school for the Monopoly Challenge. Met my classmates at Cheers so we could walk over to the BE Axis. We were supposed to be on time, okay, just 6minutes past 9am. We were going to be the Bankers for this Monopoly Challenge hosted for the students coming over from De Yi Secondary School. It turned out fun actually, I thought I'd be really jittery throughout the game making any small mistakes and get mocked by the students. Hey, it was totally different alright. I had Sihua banking at the table with me, and the peeps were really enthusiastic. Those at my table were called Verona, Murray, and I can't remember already, but there were four of them. They got very excited over the game and that really made me ecstatic too. The atmosphere was hyped up by the game, and everyone was getting high. That's good. I had fun, and had many laughs. They were saying how lucky they were sitting at our table. While they were doing the feedback forms, it had a question asking if they had any suggestions or comments about the event. One of the wrote this, "No, it's perfect already." Haha. How cool is that. No negative feedback from our table. Seems like they had a rollin' good time.

Bankers and Bankers-to-be.

We took group photos and it ended already before we even realised it. Lunch was provided and each of us were entitled to a food coupon worth three bucks at the muslim stall in canteen three. I still remember, that the lontong at that stall really sucks.

I took a bus down to Weijie's house estate, so that we could go for lunch then go down to Kallang for the Job Interview. We were afraid we'd be late so we decided to just take away some finger food and take the MRT down to Kallang then we'll eat. Good thing we did that, because we made it there slightly earlier. Everyone was quite punctual, and we found our way down to the Noel Building without needing to take a cab down, because it was really near Kallang MRT.

Yes, the job interview. So want to complain man. Eames introduced this job to my classmates and I, to be a promoter at the huge IT fair in Suntec City. He said they needed alot of sales promoters, so I asked Weijie along, then he asked our other friends too, about 4 of them. Okay, all of made our way down, and Eames reminded us not to be late. So we all were really punctual, and arrived at the Noel Building even before the expected time. However, we were there for quite a long time, because Eames and the agent were still waiting for a cab at parkway parade! Hey Eames, so much for asking us to be early hor, but then its ok lah. Thanks for introducing the job to us. We went up to the 6th floor, and what the toot, there were so many people waiting in the office, to be interviewed! I thought there wasn't any selection, and we were going to be interviewed as a group. Talk cock! There was miscommunication, or let's say, the information given to the agent wasn't reliable. So the interviews were actually one-on-one, which made me feel really jittery and have cold feet. All of us decided not to go for it already, because the response was too overwhelming, and if we still wanted the interview we had to return on Monday. TOOT lah. But the fact that we were going to promote for SeaGates, I think it's like way cool lah. Nevermind, I go and work for Asia Insights by Weijie's recommendation- at Botanic Gardens. So I'm cool with it. But I felt so rejected that I couldn't even get the interview for the job! LOL.

Unglamorous Shuling.

Get that shot bitch!

Everyone left and went their seperate ways, so I was left with Weijie, Shihan, TianHang and Wilson. We took a bus down to Orchard Road, had lunch at Wisma and walked around. I showed them the Nine West wallet I wanted to get, but Weijie said that it wasn't nice to him at all! Bloody sad lah, make me don't feel like getting it anymore though I really like it. We left the place not long after, and I took a bus down with Weijie and Shihan, to accompany Shihan to buy his 100% protein strawberry shake that costs 240bucks but discounted to 184bucks, then take a bus home together. Weijie and Shihan were in cahoots, to shoot me down. Suckers.

I hugged Weijie goodbye before I entered home. My sister just came back from Sweden, but she's only going to be here in Singapore for a short period of time. Her Swedish husband, Daniel, is going to be coming over only at a later date. We went down to the hawker centre to have dinner at a 'zi ca' stall as a family. And I finally finished cleaning my room for my sister to comfortably rest in while I sleep in the living room. I so nice right! Sacrifice for her and brother-in-law, she better appreciate it lah. Hahaha.

It's been a really long day, and I'm getting tired. So farewell and good night.

korea love!

Today, we were supposed to have a very Korean Outing, but it wasn't complete in the end.
Huiqi, Amanda, Shuling and I met at Heeren, and the proceeded to Cineleisure to buy the tickets for the Korean Movie "2 Faces of my Girlfriend". I think it's a pretty nice show! Funny and emotional. So yeap, story line is abit dumb, but I think it's still a great movie to catch. We took the couple seats right at the back of the 9th level mini theatre, so that we could Les around with popcorn. Hahaha. But we were disturbing this couple that was just beside us, sigh, sorry that they couldn't hanky panky with us around. After the movie, we took a bus down to thomson road, for Aunt Kim's Korean Food! OLE! Toots lah, we were outside the Aunt Kim Korean Restaurant already, it was freaking not open. Okay lah, maybe it would open at 5pm. So we decided to eat at the nearby Dino Cafe, then we'd go back to the restaurant maybe for just a serving of spicy Rice cakes. I had a beef lasagne, and it was good alright! We went to stand outside Aunt Kim's Restaurant at 4.55pm, to wait for it to open. There was this guy outside sitting at the table, and he helped us ask what time would they open, bloody 5.30 lah. Siao, wait another half an hour waste my time. So we decided to go home and come back another day.

Bloody retarded.

I was finally going to meet my darling Weijie after not seeing him for 5days! Met him at suntec, although I was there an hour earlier than him. I wasn't late this time! We went to buy a dry cabinet for his Canon Camera, and went to have dinner at the Korean Fastfood at suntec's basement. Urgh, although I was urging for Korean Rice Cakes, that place made me not feel like eating rice cakes anymore, I eat until I got sick of it. We went around taking pictures in City Hall, and had a great time together!

shop without saving

Went out with my two nieces, Valerie and Charlene, finally the three muskuteers are reunited! Hahaha. It's been a really really long time since we went out together. We walked around Orchard to do our shopping. I was supposed to meet Valerie at 1pm. But I was an hour late. SORRY! Hahaha. I'm known for Little Miss Late. Never had been early I think, unless it's for a paper.

Our first stop was at Wisma. The only thing I wanted to get was the top that Valerie wore during Chinese New Year. Charlene and I were supposed to get it so that the three of us can wear it out together some day. I tried the yellow one at Hula and Co, it kinda look weird on me, I thought, but maybe I just wasn't used to it. I think it was nice leh, so I bought it anyway, I won't want to regret not buying it. But I paid 37bucks for that Hula and Co top! I think it's a bit pricey for something from a shop like there. The only thing I'm afraid of now is that I see Bugis Street selling it too, maybe even at 20bucks. I'll be like ultra sad lah. Charlene decided not to get it because she didn't really like it. We went to back to Topshop to get the funky necklace. YAY! So happy with that. 15bucks. Okay lah. Now I wanna go back to the Marina Square's Topshop to get the chunky black necklace. I hope it's still there. 20bucks only after sales. We walked into Nine West and found so many nice shoes! Oh goodness me. I found a wallet that I think I'm gonna buy instead of the Braun Buffel evian one. This long black Nine West wallet at 73bucks. Still considering whether I should get it.

We walked over to Heeren, and I was complaining all the way about my aching foot. I was wearing heels. It's comfortable no doubt, but I think it's because of the height of the heel that was killing my feet. I couldn't help it but just kept yelping and walking akwardly. I was so relieved when I finally bought the blue thin strap havaianas at New Urban Male. I wanted to get the graphite one, but it was out of stock. Damn. But I couldn't bear with the pain from the stupid heels anymore, so I sort of just bought the slippers on impulse. Bo bian (learnt the correct spelling from Sihua). The NUM guy was really nice, he told me about getting a free swarovski crystal on my slipper, and brought me over to the other side to get my slipper punched. I just had to fill in my details and I got a little shiny stone on my left strap!

We were getting hungry and we wanted to eat something special. We actually had been thinking of somewhere nice in Orchard to have our dinner, but we seriously couldn't think of any. So we decided to go Far East and look for good and cheap food on the last level. We dined at a little chinese shop that has the "Zi Ca" concept, and ordered pineapple rice, tom yam soup, hot plate tofu, and sambal fried kangkong. All was good! I finished the tom yam soup to it's very last drop. We walked around Far East Plaza and the shops were closing already one by one. By then it was about 8plus. i tried a sundress, which I wanna get! But then it didn't look very good on me, maybe it's the colour, or maybe because I'm F-A-T, fat. Ok lah, just chubby, but bubbly! Haha, cheering myself up. We tried like so many dresses at this particular shop, and the two of them got a dress each, which looked really good on them. I was BROKE already, spent like 100bucks on food, drinks, and the three things. SIGH. I could have bought more with that amount of money.

The three of us only took like a few pictures, which is really really little compared to yesterday's day out at the airport. Oh well, hope to see them soon again at some family gathering. :))

airport tour

Today's airport tour was UBER DUPER FUNNY! Oh my gosh, I couldn't stop laughing looking at our silly pictures! I finally stepped into Terminal 3. So much more entertaining than the other two terminals, except that you can't view SQ planes! I was supposed to go to Vivo City for Yong Zhi's birthday dinner, but gave it a miss, because of yak yak yak. I ended up in WenHao's house playing Risk! Weijie finally got his Canon 400D and the crumpler bag for the camera. SO EXPENSIVE. 1000bucks gone in one day. Oh well, let him fulfil his long-waited wishlist. I think having that camera will be fun this holidays!

Burger King for lunch!

hate him.

I HATE THAT FUCKING THING: TAN E-WEN.At this point of time. He is so weird, no wonder he has no girlfriend. I can't believe I have a brother like him. I want to have a brother whom I can share weals and woes with, teaching me, and being in the "same world" with me. He is an introvert, who thinks he's cool and has many friends. I'm an extrovert, who has many friends, but don't think is cool enough. Come on lah, what the fuck, you are WEIRD and GAY. Even I think dad is way cooler than you.

Fish ma' studies.

Oh my gosh. Oh My Gosh. OH MY GOSH. KILL ME MAN! I so so so so so so so hate myself for this. I totally screwed up my papers. For not studying hard, for being so last minute, now I know one day is not enough to study for examinations. If only I started earlier. ARGHHHHH.

Monday: First paper was BTC, I studied for it during the weekend, which is two days. Ok lah, the paper was like easy to me. The only mistake was not reading the marks allocated to the question. The question put IDENTIFY, usually this means stating the factors or something right, so I just put the two things to the question. I like totally memorised the whole thing but I thought it was a two marks question, so I just left it as that. At the very last minute, I looked through all the questions, to see if I answered the questions correctly, WHAT THE HECK, that question was 10marks! Before I wanted to write something down, "Put your pens down". Freako. I'm bloody pissed with myself. Lost 8marks just like that. I aimed for a high A for that man.

Tuesday: Second paper was MES, supposed to be the easiest paper to me. BASKET. Last minute study. The three chapters I studied on Wednesday with Gifford, I forgot everything by the time I tried to study on the midnight before MES paper. THIS IS A WARNING! Never study without sleeping. You will seriously break down and cry. That was what happened to me. I met up with Jonathan at King Albert Macdonald's at 12am. Alfi and Jina came along. Wanted to study till the paper, because I had alot of things to cover. In the end I got stressed out, felt so sleepy, and whatever I tried to cram into my head, sunk into my stomach. I lost my appetite, and couldn't relax. Just kept reading and reading, but I forgot everything. I went for the paper, and Waliao, I felt like crying lah. I wanted to cry at that point of time man. All the questions so damn easy, but I couldn't answer them because I got mental breakdown. This time I really gave up. I gave the teacher crap answers. I left blanks. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT. I LEFT BLANKS IN MES PAPER. I can't myself. I left the room telling Mr Ho, "Mr Ho, you will be super disappointed in my paper." I so wanted to cry my soul out. But held it back. Must be strong. I still have another paper the next day.

Wednesday: The last paper was the POA. This one best. I went home the day before and just plonked on the bed, because I didn't get a wink which lead me to have a mental breakdown. I set an alarm at 10pm, and asked Weijie to be my human alarm too. In the end, he left me with 200 over missed calls I didn't even get up. I woke up only the next day. I still damn angry with myself lah. Yah, anyway, I have never never never touched POA for the whole of my life unless there were tests, then I'd study the day before or something. But for this is the examination, even better, I studied few hours before the paper. I forgot the format for partnership, how to do Provision and Adjustments, and have never seen or done financial ratio before. I started studying for it only when I met Jonathan at 9am at KAP Macdonald's again. Alfi and Sihua arrived a while later, then we ate until like 10am, and finally opened our books. Huiqi came at a later time. I don't know how I did it, but I took 3hours to do two questions. And this included asking Sihua and Huiqi questions. I took 5minutes to try and remember the terms and formulas for financial ratio, but obviously, I kept forgetting them. I went into the examination like that, and I wanted to cry again man. My Provision and Adjustments I didn't know what to put where, even when I had the format paper, for Provision and Adjustments I put the share of profits on the wrong side, and for financial ratio, I managed to put the correct ratio, but I did only one side of the ratio for one type of ratio, that means like 6marks gone, and 7marks gone because I wrote only 2 irrelevant sentences for the last question. Everyone came out talking about losing their full marks, I there sobbing about getting 50plus maybe. AHHH. I hate myself!

I think I will get a GPA of maybe 3. Damn sad lah, then no more top student and no more money. No more NTU or NUS.

I promise myself to study harder next semester! Study at least two days before! Ok ok, if that's too little, make it three days! Because I know making a promise to listen in class is as good as breaking it. Next semester aim for GPA 3.6!
I shouldn't keep thinking of the results, and enjoy my holidays first, but this will definitely take some time to stop brooding over it. Blogging about it has made me feel loads better.

This middle finger is for you, examinations.

Now it's 2am in the morning and I'm still up reading people's blog. I need to break out of my shell and pull back all my friendship strings! But hey, I think I better turn in soon, I have paper later. Goodness gracious me.

shoot me dead.

I must be dammmnnneed crazy. My exam is tomorrow and here I am blogging. I am bloody bored. I haven't opened my text for the whole morning till now. DEAD. I've not even gone through all the syllabels for tomorrow's BTC paper. Most screw up exam in Poly I suppose. MES paper would be worse worse worse! I'm still waiting for my Long John Silver to be delivered home by dear Aunt Waileng! I promise myself to study at 5pm till late night!

I stopped what I was doing. What I was doing was studying, although I wasn't really reading, more just turning over pages with letters floating around like astronauts in zero gravity.

prepare for glory? Not even there.

Oh my bloody god. I'm way behind schedule. Exam study week turns out to be holiday for me already.

Firstly, I started studying like seriously only on wednesday, when I was out with Gifford. Went over about 3 chapters of MES. Okay lah, not so bad, at least not nothing done for exams.

Secondly, yesterday's Valentine's Day out with Weijie, I totally had no time for study. I wanted to burn midnight oil, but couldn't because I was feeling really really tired.

Today I managed to go over 2 chapters of BTC, at suntec's Gloria Jeans. Had to go over to Weijie's Grandma's house for steamboat reunion dinner, generous servings of Abalone and Scallop! Instead of going through my lecture notes at the house, I was watching them play mahjong and listen to the cousins' gossip. AHHHH.
Now I'm home blogging and not studying.

I have not touched the whole of POA, need to study 10 more chapters of MES, and 5 more chapters of BTC. GREAT, so damn great. They are BIG big chapters.
Two more days to study, at least I HOPE I can complete the whole of BTC by Sunday. BUT, I still feel like shit, I'm dead-o-dead.

Valentine's Day 2008

Happy Valentine's Day to all, whether attached or not, hope you guys did have some fun out with your boyfriends and friends! Sorry to Poly students man, it's study time. But not for me! I'm not going to let the studies get into me, and ignore this special day for Weijie and I. Like seriously, I think it's a day worth celebrating, at least to acknowledge your relationship with your boy or girl. My dad and sis thinks it's dumb, and my brother adds-on, but that's because he has no Girlfriend YET. Hahaha. They are jealous lah.

We celebrated Valentine's Day this year abit more special than other usual days, because we were going to have our first ever picnic. Weijie had something for me, and asked me to go over to his house area to meet him. I already expected flowers from him, but I wished it was tulips instead of roses. But I got roses. I wanted to be special and different, when everyone's holding roses, I'm holding tulips! But oh well, I could compare with the size of the bouquet, mine was pretty big.
The only thing that was missing for the picnic was strawberries. We went to the shop 'n' save supermarket in his neighbourhood- the bukit batok branch, to look for strawberries, what the fuck! They had mouldy berries. It looked like strawberries rolled in dust, then put into a nice transparent box. Goodness! I will never ever dare buy fresh foods from there. Better check the expiry dates of dried goods too. They may be overdue too. We went to check out the other NTUC, they don't even have berries.

Took a bus down to Cathay to catch a planned movie, Juno. It's about this girl and teenage pregnancy. I went online the day before to check out the ratings for the show. Critics say it's good, but I say it's a no-no. Not worth paying the money at the movies. Try to grab a free show for it. Good thing I managed to get the tickets at a student price of 6dollars instead of $7.50. We walked over to Plaza Singapura to look for Strawberries. We were trying to look around Carrefour for cheap strawberries. Oh my gosh. The only ones they had was californian strawberries, which are extra large and also extra money. It costs $16.90 for 12 pieces. I purposely bought whip cream for the strawberries, so we can't go without them. Weijie decided to just buy it, since were already running late.

We headed down to the Botanic Gardens for our Picnic! I was quite surprised to see so many couples there. I was only expecting like maybe 5pairs or so. We found a spot on a large grass patch and spread the food out on the ground.
Let the Pictures below talk;

Taking the food out of the bag.

I finally placed all the containers on the mat.

The bouquet of roses and the bottle. Looks classy and romantic together right.

The food I prepared: Strawberries and Oranges, English Clam Chowder, Giant Prawns, Marshmallows, Whip Cream, Water Biscuit, French Brie Cheese, Shaved Honey Baked Ham, Nutella and Blueberry Jam.

It's just sparkling juice, he didn't get drunk.

Cheers!

My turn to have some!

I prepared the clam chowder. Instead of adding milk, I added water. Oopsies! But it still tasted quite nice leh.

Giant Prawns. As big as my mouth can! Yes lah, I got big mouth.

These are the expensive Strawberries I'm talking about. SEE! One strawberry almost as big as an orange!

Check out these strawberries! As big as my palm!

Don't cha love our super BIG earrings?

We are so in love with californian strawberries.

Mischievious kiddo, eat like a pig.

WE stands for Weijie and E-lis! Cool beans, we just found out.

Get that shot baby!

Are you tempted?

Our Creations! Look tasty huh.

Yum Yummy Yum! Hate the cheese though.

We tried to toast marshmallows while preventing the fire from extinguishing. And also tried to be abit romantic lah, but the wind was a spoiler.

Ooh, the mini fan comes in handy during picnics. Can you see the wind in my hair?

I duper love this picture! I look slim and *ahem* prettaye. HAHAHA.

My cooler boyfriend.

I tried to kiss you but you turned me away.

Random. pose. whatever.

His collar bone makes him look like he has a Hot Body. But the fact is he's a fatty!

Let you see my toot face.

Left our footprints at Botanic Gardens. But not our shoes.

We left the place only at 8.30pm, and Weijie sent me home. He paid his respects to my daddy for CNY, and daddy invited him into the house. So funny, we didn't have any orange, so when I entered the house, I quickly took two oranges in a bag from the nearest table and passed it to Weijie when daddy wasn't looking. Daddy went like, "Eh, I thought I put a bag of orange there, how come not there already ah?" So sarcastic lah, but then he didn't mind lah. In the end he made Weijie bring home a whole box of mandarin oranges as a "punishment". Hahaha. We have too many at home already. Daddy damn stingy lah, give Weijie angpao not even 1/5 of mine.

I had a jolly good time today, Thanks Weijie for being so lovely, but I hope you will take the initiative to plan in future! LOVE YOU WEIJIE THE A-HOLE! HAHAHA!
But I also know I'm so dead because I didn't study at all today.
All the love in the world.
