Happy 2nd Anniversary Ed!

I tell you I tell you,
I LOVE YOU CHUA WEIJIE! Happy 2nd ANNIVERSARY!

It's been a long time ( but not that long yet) since we've been together! It's amazingly long and tiring to be with you... HAHAHA. Just joking you GGJ. It seriously feels like I've been with you for ages, like almost a decade. Sad right? But good lah, means we will know how it feels like to grow old together.

Petals in Ice.

Thanks for the really nice slideshow you've done for me. It's like bloody retarded and cute, I LIKE! I really really like it, although there were really horrendous pictures of ME, like anyone would freak out at my ugly distinctive features at such close-ups. Oh well, still love the way you did it, not at all CLICHE, like as if all our pictures have to be pretty yea? At least you didn't put my hamster picture, thank you.
Here's the link for myself to remember and for whoever who wants to see it:

I understand that it's been really hard to make this day extra special with my especially high demands and expectations, and I always go boring boring boring or no surprise, no this no that. But the fact is... I'm not going to tell you. Later you take this for granted. I'm sorry I have no present for you, and you don't have for me either, so let's just postpone the present-giving maybe 2 months later or so, like so I can combine your birthday present and 26th together. MUAHAHAHA. Please lah, you know I'm not like that because I am soooo nice. RIGHT CHUA WEIJIE?

It was an amazing day, together with my beloved one Chua Weijie. We took a cab to Ngee Ann Poly for me to pass the chocolates order to Huiqi and then into Labrador Park to fish and to picnic.

In the cabby. He insisted on taking this pictures because he hasn't taken one for ages!

We walked over to the Jetty and found a shelter spot to sit down. There was a slight drizzle, so we decided to start on the food first. The place had a fishy stench, however it did not stop us from enjoying the food. The sumptuous meal was prepared by my dear boyfriend, and it tasted good! (For once. Hahaha. I'm praising you now ok so enjoy the moment) Even the Rosti he prepared tastes better than the one in Marche. The ice box borrowed from Amelia was damn useful, it kept everything cold, and the ice was still in its solid form right until we wanted to discard them.

The very useful Ice-box. Thanks Amelia!

It had already stopped drizzling, and so we found ourselves a spot where we thought would hav lots of fishes. Sadly, we caught none. Initially I thought I managed to hook up a fish, because the fishing rod was bending really hard. Weijie tried to help me with it, but we soon realised that it wasn't really pulling, it just got stuck. He tried all means and ways to reel it up, and finally he did, with some yellow stuff caught on the hook. Yay, we tugged a part of coral or something. We ate the remaining food as we fished, and the salad sucks I swear. The lettuce was bitter to the max, and we had no idea why it turned out that way. But the Hokkaido cherry tomatoes were gooooood and sweeeeet. It was breezy though sunny, and my back got burnt by the sun, unintentional suntan! We, okay, more of I, got tired of waiting for a dumb fish to hook itself up on our zero bait (for we used nothing but a hook), oh, and we tried various baits like cooked prawns and softened potatoes. Hahaha. So fun, I think the fishes really ate them because when we reeled in, there was nothing left there.

Nice Signboard.

It started to drizzle again, so we headed back to ground land and sat under the shelter, trying to finish the rest of the food and get rid of the melted ice water. We moved to a stone table in the open air, for it was getting stuffy. There was too much food, so we threw away alot. We had lots of fun playing with the food and cameras, like shooting cherry seeds into the air and doing jumpshots, taking pictures with my polaroid. Just simply fun!

Yo! Get that shot!

Spitting Cherry seeds. SUCCESS! After numerous tries.

Spitting Cherry Seeds, UNSUCCESSFUL. Because there was only one cherry left.

We love Polaroid!

It's you in the sky. AIRPORK!

PHWEEE in the air.

It was getting late somewhat near evening time, so we packed up and walked back to the bus stop, kicking a block of ice all the way to the bus stop. Both of us suddenly felt the urge to pee, so we quickly made our way to the nearest toilet to release. Taking turns and rushing each other to come out of the toilets to take care of the things outside. LOL. The bus would only come 10 minutes later, so we went over the those van stalls to get a cold can of drink. There was this monkey on the van, and the auntie was complaining to us about the monkey, talking about how naughty it is, always stealing the food from her van. The monkey peeled away the marigold sticker on the windscreen, the auntie started scolding the monkey, like as if scolding a kid of her own. So cute! But Weijie's lousy camera didn't manage to capture it because the lens was too magnified, and he was a slowpoke.

The naughty primate.

We took double buses back to his house, so as to put down the ice box and bring his camera crumpler out. We headed all the way down to SMU to take a look at the bazaar there. However, didn't get to look around much except meeting David Choo! I signed up at the exhibition to get a free goodie bag, but come to realised all they had in it was really japalang, one NEWater bottle, 1 expired voucher for Sushi Tei, and Eng Wah vouchers which I could get it for free anytime anywhere. BOOOOO. Waste my time doing the surveys lah, but nevermind lah. Although we were quite full from lunch, we had already planned to eat at Nihon Mura Restaurant. So we walked over to Cathay's basement to queue up. The food we ordered was astonishingly fresh and yummy! I expected a standard of Sakae Sushi but it is way better I tell you. Can't wait to go back there to eat!

Scrumptuous food.

We didn't want to go back just yet, as we would always do after 10pm. We wanted to walk to Raffles City when we saw the beautiful night scenery at the Singapore Art Museum. There was this Night Festival going on around that area, and it was a great view! Many people were there to just look and some were there with their big basooka cameras with tripod stands. When we realis
