♥Chippy's rock, like totally!
ANYWAY, CHIPPY'S TOTALLY ROCK. After eating these good stuff for already 3-4 years upon Kimberley's introduction then, I have also spread the word to my friends and family on how damn good this British Take Away is.
I know this is damn random, because I just had my sinful mars bar awhile ago, and cheesy sausage the day before, and I suddenly felt the need and want to brag about it to everyone.
My two personal favourites.I ♥ fried mars bar.Mars Bar deep-fried in a batter and oil. It may sound or look disgusting, but damn, it's deceiving you! Served with vanilla or chocolate ice-cream (but better with vanilla because it's already so chocolatety), and the Mars bar being hot when it's being served to you immediately. Once biting into the nugget of fried goodness, deliciously crispy on the outside, your teeth sinks into the molten warm mars chocolate, melting into your tastebuds. It's heavenly sinful If you are scared of being fat, forget it, you don't need to try it liao.
I ♥ Cheesy Sausage with Mashed Potato
Served to you hot, it's good to have it on a freezing or rainy day in the shopping mall. You have the Mash Potato right at the bottom, I have a habit of using the sausage to mix the gravy and potato, and then biting off the head of the sausage. YUMMY. The cheese oozes out of the sausage, bursting with flavour in your mouth. The sausage has a slight bacon taste, which is two thumbs up for all bacon lovers out there, like me!
However, the others such as the Fried Calamari, and Curry Chicken is not at all fantastic, because you could taste more of the flour and crust than the sotong or chicken inside. I have yet to try the Beer Battered Fish, but will try it one day, maybe tomorrow with Jon at Far East! Hee hee.
If you have not tried Chippy's, you are damn sua ku. You have no food life man. Unless you have a particular reason, like can only eat Halal food. Otherwise, you better not wait anymore and go try them at Far East, Lot 1, Raffles City or Central.
Oh yeah, Pearlyn is working at Chippy's Far East now. See her around so MAYBE can get like free one more nugget of mars bar or two, she may move to any other locaton though.
