I was going Sentosa again, on a very cool, breezy, and cloudy day. Today was supposed to be suntanning day with Fiona and her friend, Colleen. I made a new friend! I was actually sitting next to her in the same train, the same carriage, and I was standing behind her when the doors opened. I couldn't help it but notice her strikingly colourful bag, and I was staring right at her hair, thinking why this girl pin her hair up until so style, so many pins. We alighted the train and I was practically following her to pave the way into the crowd, onto the escalator. I called Fiona, and was looking for her at the control station. I then saw this girl behind Fiona, OMG, it was the same girl I stared at, because I recognized her bag! At least I hit off with her pretty well, it wasn't as awkward as what I expected it to be.
Yes! We were on our way to Sentosa, and I got in free with Huiting's Islander card :D I seriously couldn't stand the crowd, people behind us in the train were pushing us like as if we were made of air, can be compressed. Nahbeh, bloody banglah behind pushing me still dare to complain. We arrived Beach Station, and it was a relief to be out of that pack of squashed sardines. We walked to Cafe Del Mar, Fiona and I were so totally excited. We just simply let Colleen do all the talking, and just followed her. We wanted the Day Beds, but just because it was a public holiday, we would have to spend at least 100bucks just to sit on it. We at least had the wooden deck chairs on the first row. We three had to share two deck chairs because there wasn't enough.
Colleen ordered her chicken wings and fries, and shared with us; Fiona ordered a Carlsberg beer; I had a glass of Lime Soda. The food and drinks not cheap ehhh. But worth it because of the facilities. Whoaaaa, I tell you, the chilli sauce for the chicken wings was superb man. We got so tempted by the chicken wings, that Fiona and I decided to order another basket to share, after a while.
We stayed there for at least 5 freaking whole hours just to wish and hope for the sun to appear, and our happy moment only lasted us for a very very very very very short while.I got so irritated with the clouds lah, block my sun for my beauty tan. Hahaha. Meanwhile, we went into the shallow pool, and we were acting stupid trying to chase each other in the pool along the seating area. Definitely not my idea, but I thought it was quite fun, hahahha.
I totally had no idea why there were sooooo many Banglahs, but they were like flocking birds flooding up the beach. We were waiting and waiting for the Sun to appear, and the Sun must be on the Banglahs' side, because they already so black, later tan some more become oily man. It's not that I want to discriminate them lah, but they are just fucking gross can. They simply gather around the fence area, and just keeps taking pictures of girls in bikinis, and most importantly US. We were just behind that fence, and surely got our face in there lah. Because Cafe Del Mar was blasting loud loud techno music, some act cool bui cool banglahs started dancing. WTF, barbaric black morons man, they were like just jumping around, no style one. They kept snapping pictures at the place, and US, and the bikini babes, and they would just stop and stare in their groups. It was so bad that the male staff from Cafe Del Mar had to come out to ask those disgusting banglahs to back off. They still continued to stop and stare, till the Beach Patrol Security guard had to ask them to go away. Thank god for the Cafe Del Mar staff, we felt protected.
My fish-eye competitor. Who's eyes bigger?
We had a bath, changed out, took the train back to Vivo City. The crowd was insanely crazy. Initially thought I couldn't join them for dinner, but in the end I did. We took the MRT train to City Hall and met the other two monkeys at Starbucks, Amanda and Jon Han. We ate at Just Noodles, and it was good alright, but still wasn't full after all the free flow (mian fei liew) drinks and ice-cream. Took some pictures together, and off we went for home!
