♥Happy early Birthday Natalie!
Still waiting for pictures!
Natalie's Birthday Bash at Sentosa Cove was great, like wow!The Gossip Girls shared to buy clip ons in an open umbrella shape, where you can clip anything, from pictures to decorations. It wasn't cheap, but we bought it anyway because we were tipped off that Natalie liked it very much.
We all took the bus in from Harbour Front Interchange, and both Charmaine and my first response was, LIFE SUCKS. Hahaha. It didn't feel like we were in Singapore, the place was simply beautiful. Come on, Sentosa Cove = home for the rich and famous, those houses there worth millions! We alighted at Ocean Drive, at some open pavillion by the sea, near Elton's place. Initially, it was two distinct groups, because we were Natalie's Fairfield friends, while the other bunch was Natalie and Elton's friends. We'd somehow or rather felt weird, because we didn't talk to the other group. But okay lah, it wasn't so bad. We took jillion of pictures. Our entire clique held on to Lomography cameras, DSLRs, SLRs, and compact cameras, all snapping away. Catered food, Party hats, whacking the Pinata, what else could we think of for a party?
Elton's family owns a Buggy to themselves, we were like, "WHAT?! Wahhhh.." We took the Buggy to Elton's home, and Viola! The dream home that we all fancy. Hahaha. Proceeded to Elton's room, and he had a balcony to himself! The yacht and motor boats were parked behind the house, and there were no barriers along the houses. I'm like so so so so envious lah! I wanna live life like this, how I wish to own one of those expensive yachts, but I think it's impossible no matter how hard I work. Hahaha.
Natalie cut her birthday cake, and it was very chocolatey and yummy! Elton cleaned the place up with a hello kitty cloth, and Nat said it was actually his face towel! So funny lah.
We all headed down to One Degree 15, to check out the race festival for the Volvo Ocean Race 2008-2009. We listened to performances by the playing local band E.I.C- standing for Eurasian.Indian.Chinese. Hahaha. They are actually very good, and they usually play at Wala Wala @ Holland Village, and also Timbre substation. Will go there some time with Gossip Girls to chill out and hear them perform again :D
They had this huge blown-up pool, put people into giant inflatable balls and let them roll around on shallow water. Natalie, Fenny, Clement, Carmelle and her boyfriend Caleb, and myself, all queued up for 45 minutes to be in that ball. Hahaha. The couples paired themselves up, and Natalie and I paired up. Most of the people queuing were kids, except for us and two adults. Weijie stood by and took pictures of us. Nat and I were the first to get into the ball, and it was hilarious right from the first step into the water. We tried to run like hamsters, and kept falling down again and again. We laughed uncontrollably, which made it difficult for us to stand up again. Whenever I was lying down, Natalie ran like a hamster, and I looked like clothes spinning in a washing machine. Vice Versa for Nat! There were several times that we fell onto each other, and stepped on each other's hair. The staff there laughed at us and said that we looked like we were eating each other out. We played for quite a while, maybe it was because we tried to run in the other direction when they were bringing us back. It was full of mirthfulness and hilarity! But also very tiresome.
We sat in the Sailing simulator,
Weijie and I went to see the sailboats, and the PumaV070 looked the best! Red and black, with the crouching jaguar/cheetah/tiger/cat on the sail. Hahaha.
Tried the Grinding Challenge at one of the booths, and I won Natalie by a bit. Tiring! I would have lost terribly if I were in a mini race.
We picked our things, waved goodbye, and shared cab with Nat and Weijie to go home.
We realised that we didn't have dinner, so I asked the cab driver to alight me at Macdonald's, to grab a pack of Curly Fries!
To Natalie, glad to know you had a great time, and Happy 19th Birthday in advance! The last time you will be having a ONE in front of your age! Not young anymore!!!
I'm
talking champagne wishes and caviar dreams.
