♥sisters' day out
Since Sis came back to Singapore this holidays, I finally spent time with her out shopping at Orchard. Okay, not exactly shopping for me.
She was without a phone I thought, so I thought it's better not to be late, or she'd have thought that I was abducted and called the police. I was late by 15minutes, DAMN, but it really wasn't my fault, it's the bus. Hahaha, I'm always excusing myself, but the waiting time killed my punctuality can! My sis managed to send a message to me, using her Swedish phoneline. So if we message each other, it would be charged as global message. However, she didn't get my message. Can you imagine, we may have been just a few metres away from each other in the same country, but
the message from my sister's phone travels all the way to Sweden and then gets back to me in Singapore? Okay, that's just my assumption alright.
Our first stop was
Far East Plaza. We looked around for a
tailoring shop, and managed to get my sister's ZARA jeans altered. (I'm gonna emphasize on the words of the brands of her clothes) The lady talked to her in Chinese, and I seriously thought she replied her, erm, terribly. She was contradicting everything she said. HAHAHA. She confused herself, and I supposed, embarrassingly. Firstly, when the tailor asked if the alteration was urgent, sis said yes -obviously she couldn't interpret chinese words quickly. Then sis told her at the counter that she's not in a rush for it. And
when the tailor asked her if she was Singaporean, sis replied yes. The next thing she said was that she's here on a Holiday. Whatthe?!!!?
We walked around with a plan to buy presents for the March babies, and cut her hair. Amanda Channy recommended the salon she patronizes to have her hairdo or cut- called the
HairPlan or something. She said this guy called Chris is like the most pro one there. Okay, maybe he was but he wasn't available, attending to little kids. He was really friendly, that I can tell, but the thing is that he lied to find topic with me?!!?! I told him Amanda recommended him and this salon, he tells me that Amanda and her mom came yesterday to cut their hair, and that Amanda told him that she wanted to recommend me to this salon. I was like HUH, I only asked her at night, and her call to the salon was engaged. GOODNESS! But nevermind lah, he was nice. We were in there for 2hours, and we got her hair dyed in copper brown and cut in the very IN style now. The short hair with the bangs. But she was unhappy with the hairstyle because she wanted to look different, and not look common. Her hairstyle always remind me of Wong Li-lin. LOL!
We walked around abit more and I found a
nice halter sundress that I think I'm going to go back and buy, but it's 30bucks for that kind of material, I'm hesitating. I bought the
Cheese Sausage with Mash Potato at Chippies, they are the best! Yummy.
Our second stop was at
TANGS. Sis went to look at
clothes and accessories at the Island shop, and tried on a tube dress. She's like uber hot now especially after the haircut. I like her hair. Hahaha. Sis saw a necklace that she liked, but didn't buy anything from there in the end, because we intended to go back for it but forgot. But seriously, I think flaunting boobies aren't so bad after all, as in not to the extreme lah, but abit of cleavage doesn't kill. If you have it, just flaunt it! My sister wears clothes that is like not say slutty, but just shirts or dresses that reveals abit of the line, looks nice actually, femininely sexy. But I just hate it when Ti ko Pek keep looking, very disgusting.
Third Stop was at
Wisma and Takashimaya. Walked into Nine West, Topshop, Cotton On, Zara, blah blah and spotted some really nice stuff, but the only thing we got was a bag as Vanessa's present. The aroma from
Famous Amos was simply irresistable, and sis just bought 200grams of double chocolate with pecan and macademia. My sister's main shopping list was to get her make-up. So we went to Watsons, and just swiped the shelves of
Maybelline and Loreal. Alright alright, I was just exaggerating, it was just picking a few. Just a few little cosmetics it already cost 70plus. Imagine Amanda buying her Benefit make-up, and one blusher already costs 60bucks. I am so so so quantity.
It was getting late like say about 8.30pm, and we went for dinner at
Pepper lunch, and my sister's beef set meal is like twice the price of mine. Toot. But I think my curry cheese beef rice nicer. Hahaha. She got really amused about the cook-the-meat-yourself part, and was exclaiming about it to my brother when we came home. Hahaha.
I'm
talking champagne wishes and caviar dreams.
