It's been a long time since I went to Farmart! This is only my second time there, and both Weijie and I have been anticipating this trip. We had wanted to go running in the morning, but I remembered that I had to submit my OBS form by today. So I had to go forgo my intended exercise, and go to school, then we took a bus to Choa Chu Kang to catch the shuttle bus to Farmart. I got to try my Pie Kia! Wheeeeee. So yummy, especially the mango and pear one. I still have two more Pie Kia with me now at home.
The poster mentioned free admission to Farmart, but they very clever. It's not free, the shuttle-bus cost each of us 50cents each ride. So I guess that's how the bus drivers earn their money. The place was really small, but we spent the whole day feeding the animals in this little yard that has goats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, tortoises, disgusting bullfrogs, catfishes etc. We spent about $6 on the different types of food for the rodents, goats and tortoises. None for the frogs, ewwwww, but I was really nice to throw one globule of food to them. We went into this aquarium that sells very very small prawns that has the colours of the nemo fish, very cute indeed! But damn expensive, $6 for very small prawns, but very unique lah, so quite worth it I think.
Feeding the Goat and the Rabbit.
Super uber cute hamster!
Never seen so many tortoises in one place before!
Too bad they are all caged up.
While waiting for the next shuttle bus to come, we had our dinner at the mini food centre there. Cockles and Stingray. WOOHOO! Yummy.
