As usual, I was late, but because I was meeting Weijie to borrow his PSP. And the night before this trip, I already made it clear to Jon and Qinjie that I was going to be late, so yeah, planned to be late. Hahaha. Then that Jon mentioned in his blog that I'm a bloody pussy for being late, and that makes him a true Ter Sai (quoted from amanda's blog).
Weijie went to play cage soccer at Kallang with his friends, and I took the MRT train all the way to Tampines. Jon said that I could take Bus 2 from Bedok to Changi Village, or MAYBE Bus 3 from Tampines but I better asked around. So naturally, I believed him and took Bus 3 at Tampines, and luckily before the bus driver drove off, I asked him if it goes to Changi Village, he said no, go take bus 292. Thank god I asked and alighted, if not I'll be somewhere else, and even later.
Took the bus down to Changi Village and met them at the Changi Jetty, and everyone was like mildly cursing and swearing at me for being so late, because they had been waiting for me for so long. So sorry again guys! But if not for me, you guys wouldn't have gotten to see those cute kittens that I missed out!
Me and my toot face with that toot Qinjie.
We cycled with Qinjie and Eames leading the road, to some other road that I have not come across in my the other mini expedition with Clement, Weijie and Fenny. And it was fun! We stopped by some place to see the Goddess of Mercy (guanyin) look-a-like cliff, where we also got to try Guava plucked for us by an Uncle, and also gain some knowledge of the herbs that we think looked like wild grass.
We continued to cycle through muddy treks and there we were at some lush greenery that I never knew Pulau Ubin had. It was completely beautiful. Too bad Weijie's Canon 400D wasn't with me. We took like jumpshots and a group photo, and also played with a see saw thing which required teamwork to balance both sides. We stayed there for about half an hour or so.
This is really comical. We were back in the Nile of Egypt.

Trying to Balance. And we did it!

Later, we cycled down to Chek Jawa, which left us with muddy spots on both our shirts and bags. And for goodness sake, 4 out of 5 of us were wearing white shirt. I had like fashionably (ugly) brown spots on my Nike shirt. We sat down at the long isle-d jetty at Chek Jawa, and stayed there for a reasonably long period of time, about say 2hours? We snacked on the tidbits we brought and chatted about alot of things. And we noticed how bad the pollution was, and there was a poor yellow coral fish floating but alive, trying to struggle away from the polluted waters. There was also another dead ugly big fat fish floating around, but didn't manage to capture a picture of it. Before we left the place, we were talking about ghost stories and incredible tales, which lead shivers down my spine whilst talking about it. I think I was more frightened by the thought of it than 4bia left the impact on me. It was getting slightly dark and I was trying my best not to be the one cycling last behind, because I was scared. Hahaha.
Look at how polluted the sea.
