♥MERRY XMAS!
Happy Christmas
to everyone!

Christmas eve morning was spent with Amanda and Johnathan, not to chill out together, but to visit a site for our project. What a way to celebrate! Unfortunately, we didn't manage to enter the site of construction for upgrading, because weather wasn't very good, and plus I think it's a day off for banglahs since it's a public holiday eve, half day!
Weijie and I were late to meet Fenny and Clement at Marina Square. Instead of watching them shop for each other's presents, they in turn had to wait for me to shop around for Shermaine's (niece) birthday present. I bumped into YunXing and Alex several times, like as if we were stalking each other! Saw Jacqueline too, how coincidental. Gosh, how I miss them :(( Before we left to go to our respective destinations, we walked over to Esplanade's Chocz to have a scrumptuous chocolate truffle cake to satisfy our sweet tooth. We actually ordered a whole cake and shared it. Chocolate truffles are never enough, we are sooo going back for more!

Weijie sent me back home to wrap Shermaine's present before he went for his own event. Went over to eldest uncle's house for a christmas get-together. Food was cold and scarce by the time I got there, and it sure was boring. Had a great chat with Valerie, and soon it was time to blow out candles and cut cake for Shermaine's and cousin Pauline's birthday.
Christmas seemed like Chinese New Year, because I received red packets from everyone except a Guess bag from cousin Pauline. The christmas spirit is dying off in the family, no more anticipation till 12am, no more excitement from opening the presents. I even went back home before striking 25december 12am, when I usually would stay overnight. OH WELL.

It was christmas day and I was looking forward to whip up a meal at Clement's house with the same double date. The four of us met up during mid-afternoon at Bukit Timah Plaza's NTUC finest. I swear it's really not cheap. 300g of mince pork was 8bucks! I think so, can't remember. We shopped for the ingredients for our dinner menu, and I picked up the big white portbello mushrooms and cheese and put them in the cart. We cabbed back to his house with all the grocery bags although it was really near his house.
Took all the food out once we reached back, and went up to Clement's room to play some card games to kill time. Soon, it was time to COOK! Yayyy!

This steamer/ cooker/ griller/ toaster, is damn fucking amazing! It does wonders.

CLEFEN!!!

Mushrooms stuffed with Ham and Cheese.
These were the stuffed mushrooms that I MADE. With a LITTLE BIT of help from Clement. Hahaha.

Weijie's dishes- Mushroom Bacon Wrap, Bacon Rosti

Fenny's grilled Salmon with Indonesian black sauce.

Our Christmas dinner!
Dinner was good, and I'm super proud of the stuffed mushrooms, it was delicious! Hahaha, followed by Fenny's salmon. Clement was supposed to prepare the pasta, but it turned out that his domestic helper and mother did the cooking of pasta. Cheryl joined us to eat, and it was fun watching her and her good ol' brother Clement bicker with so much enthusiasm.
I swear Clement's parents are super cute. His mother kept praising our cooking and kept saying, "Wow, you kids know how to cook, very clever ah."
His father was so fascinated over the Magic Vegetable, where you throw the thumbsized rubber thing into the water, and then it would grow bigger over 48 hours.

Cheryl! She's still as retarded as ever.
We had at least 10 games of Mahjong with his mother's fake Louis Vuittion Mahjong set, and his mom made sure our hands were clean before we touched her LV mahjong set. Cheryl won like several games, and we believe it's because of the feng shui.

We then played non-gambling card games we could possibly think of, like Heart attack and Bluff. Cheryl was so funny, she always lost at Bluff, because she will put the wrong card down, and then take a very long time to think before she puts a card down. HAHAHA!

I'm
talking champagne wishes and caviar dreams.
