♥
I woke up at 1 pm today! So we spent the Sunday just walking around the neighbourhood. Our initial plan was to watch movies, but..Movies here costs a bomb! Just to sit in the cinema theatre and watch a bigger screen costs you HKD 95, that is near SGD 20 per ticket! Oh man! We walked around Times Square, and we are soooo waiting for the 70% sale at ZARA! I super love the City!Super department where they have all the nice and interesting stuff. Their supermarket = Thumbs Up + Expensive! They have everything from many countries, and things you can't find in Singapore! The prices are definitely higher as it caters for the upper class citizens, and it was funny to see Calbee Potato chips more expensive than Kettle's Potato chips! We ended up buying Chestnut Cream as spread, and so that I could try making my own Fromage Blanc (French dessert) after getting plain yoghurt from somewhere cheaper.
Food here in Hong Kong is so expensive, I really miss eating in Singapore, and I think I will stop complaining about things being expensive when I get back.
We walked down to the streets behind SOGO, and had a very fulfilling set dinner at a ca can ting.
I think we have already combed the entire Causeway Bay, and are pretty familiar with our way around.
We are already planning for our next few weekends, or more likely, Sundays.
Places we've still yet to visit:
- The Peak
- Art Museum
- Tung Chung; CityGate Outlet Mall, Space Outlet, Lantau Island Po Lin Monastry
- Happy Valley for horse racing!
- Southern District: Repulse Bay, Stanley Beach and Market
- Shenzhen, China
- Macau
I'm
talking champagne wishes and caviar dreams.
